Finding Your Signature Spring Look

I don’t know about you, but besides spring making me want to buy new clothes and deep clean my house, it also makes me want to update my makeup look. We all want a signature look, one that we can put on for everyday or special events, and feel our very best! For those of us that aren’t makeup experts, a signature look can be hard to come by. It’s hard to know what products will suit our skin care needs, our eye color, or our needs. So, as we usually do when we are a bit unsure, we went to our go-to makeup source: Mary Kay! Mary Kay is always on the cutting edge of fashion as far as makeup trends, and they always have practical advice for the everyday gal.

It is suitable for an every day look, and can be dressed up with added liner and a bold lip for a special event (like graduation, or a work event for those of us no longer in high school!). Mary Kay’s website also notes that mascara is making a comeback, with a more traditional black lash definition than last year. Lastly, bronzer always adds a nice flush to your cheeks in the spring and summer months, and is a wise investment for added definition on your cheekbones.

Mary Kay also debuted a new collection called “Into the Garden”. It is a gorgeous, feminine collection of products from Patricia Bonaldi. Some of our favorite picks from the line include the color compact and the mineral cheek color. You can find all of the Into the Garden collection right here, along with prices and ordering information. Remember that your signature look should be doable for you, whether that’s just an extra dab of lip gloss, or trying out mascara. It shouldn’t overwhelm you, but should make you feel beautiful and inspired!

As always, our fearless collaborator, Danielle Chamberlin, can always help you with finding a signature look. I always appreciate her insight and expertise when it come to choosing the right palettes, and I know she can help you, too!
